CALL TO ACTION FOR THE HUMAN RIGHT TO WATER AND SANITATION!/ 6TH WORLD WATER FORUM Dear friend of the right to safe drinking water and sanitation, In less than a week, the 6th World Water Forum will be held in Marseille, France. The Forum is held under the slogan “It’s time for solutions and commitments”. Yet the current draft Ministerial Declaration falls short of commitments on the right to safe drinking water and sanitation that virtually all United Nations Member States have already made. This is unacceptable. Join this Call to Action asking Ministers attending the Forum to change the language of the draft Ministerial Declaration to reflect human rights language that has been agreed by the United Nations. The Call to Action (below) will be circulated to Ministers at the Forum on 11 and 12 March, which is when the Ministerial Conference will be taking place. It´s time to fully commit states to realising the rights to water and sanitation for all!
